About Dr. Rebecca Sowers

Dr. Rebecca J. Sowers was born and grew up only a couple hours away in Hastings, NE. She attended high school and college there, graduating from Hastings College with a BA in biology before continuing her education at UNMC College of Dentistry, earning her DDS in 1999. She served as a research assistant during her years of dental school, then spent a year and a half as a part-time faculty member in the Adult Restorative Dentistry department at UNMC College of Dentistry before entering private practice in her current location in 2000. Now, Dr. Sowers is proud to have been helping families throughout Lincoln achieve better smiles for nearly 25 years.

Some of her hobbies include reading, concerts, kayaking and Husker football. Dr. Sowers is married to her wonderful husband, Mark and has two children, Alex and Jaden.
